DevOps Engineer

Position: DevOps Engineer
Location: Berlin, Germany
Remuneration: € 55000.00 - € 70000.00 per annum

Our client is a fast-growing, SaaS human resource management startup based in Berlin. In order to sustain their rapid growth and improve service offerings, they are looking to hire a talented DevOps Engineer to join their innovative team.
What will you be doing?

• Maintaining and improving the performance of application infrastructure
• Handling cloud, virtualisation & network
• Taking care of Linux-based productive systems
• Managing and configuring CI/CD and deployment infrastructure
• Writing scripts for automation using Python, Bash
• Infrastructure provisioning using Saltstack
• Collaborate closely with developers to optimise build and release processes

• Expertise in Linux
• Experience with CI
• Familiarity with Python, Perl, Bash, etc.
• Knowledge in and infrastructures such as Terraform, Chef or Puppet
• Knowledge in Java would be an added advantage
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
• Solid experience in Amazon Web Services
• Performing monitoring of the system ELK, Grafana
• Supporting development teams
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in German is a plus
